| Annual Jefferson Tree Lighting |

The Annual Jefferson Tree Lighting was held December 1st, 2019. A special thank you to Dunkin Donuts for allowing this Jefferson tradition to continue and for providing hot chocolate to those who came to the event. After several readings by the local pastors and singing of several carols the tree was light. Upon singing Here Comes Santa Claus, sirens could be heard in the distance and Santa himself appeared atop the fire truck. After the brief Santa sighting the crowd made their way to the Jefferson Ruritan Community Center when cookies, punch and hot chocolate were served and the children were able to sit upon Santa's lap. |
