Around 0700 hrs Company 20 was alerted on the 2nd alarm for Box 1-3 for the Apartment building fire with multiple victims trapped. Units from Co. 1 picked multiple victims off balcony's on the third floor.  While E12 advanced a 300' 1 3/4" line to the third floor where they found heavy fire and partial ceiling collapse in one apartment. Units on 1st alarm made quick work of the fire and contained it to the apartment of origin. All 2nd alarm units staged and was placed in service short time later.
